Saturday October 8th
North Wirral League Division One Final's Day
The top four teams from Division One took their places in the Final's Day at the excellent Manor Road venue on Saturday September 24th with the following results.

The best result of the day came in the Final with the Liscard father and son combination of Brian and Paul Harris completing a 21-05 victory. The Secretary of the North Wirral League thanked all four teams taking part and congratulated Liscard on winning the Final. Andy thanked the Manor Road Bowling Club for allowing the Final to be played at their excellent venue. This was another great day's bowling and a fitting end to another fine and competitive North Wirral Bowling League season..

North Wirral League Division Two Final's Day
The top four teams from Division Two took their places in the Final's Day at the excellent Upton Victory Hall venue on Saturday August 21st with the following results.

In the Final Great Meols took a lead of 22 shots by winning the first two games with Perch Rock fighting back to win the next three games 21-20-21-14 and 21-11. This proved in vain however with Great Meols early assault providing a 4 shot win in an excellent Final once again played in a great spirit. The best win came from Mark Bunting and Andy Wainwright with their 21-11 victory. Another great day's bowling enjoyed by all who took part and thanks to the Upton Victory Hall for the use of their great venue.

North Wirral League Cup Semi Finals & Final Day
The Semi Finals & Final of the North Wirral League Cup took place at Manor Road Bowling Club on Saturday August 13th with the following results.

Cheshire Cheese win the Cup for the 2011 season and also provided the best winning card of the day, with the Husband & Wife pairing of Mike & Margie Lewis handing in a winning 21-04 scorecard in the Final. This excellent competition was well run by the North Wirral Chairman Mr. Thomas Walker who thanked all the teams that took part and also the Manor Road Bowling Club for allowing the Finals day to take place at their excellent venue. It was a good day's bowling by all and played with great spirit by all the teams during the day.

The 2011 North Wirral Bowling League Cup Quarter Final
Full quarter final results below. Teams qualified for Semi Finals and Final Day are: Cheshire Cheese, Perch Rock, Quarry Vikings and Manor Road. The draw for the Semi Finals will be made on the day, Saturday August 13th at Manor Road Bowling Club,12 noon start. Prize money: Winners £50, Runners Up £30, Losing Semi Finalists £10 each. Semi Finals 15 up, Final 21 up.

The 2011 North Wirral Bowling League Cup Draw
The Cup draw was made at the pre-season meeting held at Manor Road Bowling Club last Thursday February 24th.

All Club Secretaries are to arrange the dates for the Cup Preliminary Round matches as soon as possible. Perch Rock and Sacred Heart receive byes into the Quarter Finals. The draw for the Quarter Finals will be made after all the Preliminary Round matches have been completed. The Semi Finals and Final will be played at Manor Road Bowling Club on Saturday 13th August with a 12 noon start.
Please remember that the Semi Final Matches will be 15up and the Final 21 up as agreed at the Annual General Meeting.

Annual General Meeting Report
The 2010 North Wirral Bowling League and Presentation Night took place at Manor Road Bowling Club on Wednesday 10th November 2010.
The meeting was opened at 8-30pm by the Chairman, Mr. Tommy Walker. A moments silence was held to remember our bowling friends who had passed away during the previous year.
Roll Call:
Eleven teams out of the Twelve member teams were represented with an apology received from Great Float.
Chairman's Report:
Tommy Walker thanked everyone who took part and commented on the excellent standard of bowling in the North Wirral Bowling League, which is going from strength to strength each year.
Secretary's Report:
Andy Wainwright gave a report on the 2010 season by thanking all the team Secretaries, Captains and Players. Thanks were given to Manor Road Bowling Club for the use of their excellent facilities. Andy also went on to give a report of the winners and runners up of the League and Cup competitions. Special thanks were given to Tommy Walker for all his support given to the Secretary throughout the year and also to Peter Dodd, Secretary and Treasurer of the Wallasey C.G.B.A., for all the work he has done for the North Wirral Bowling League.
Treasurer's Report:
Andy Wainwright provided everyone with an Account sheet which was passed by all. The balance carried forward to the 2011 season was £200.

Format for the 2011 Season:
Two additional teams have joined the North Wirral Bowling League for the 2011 season: Great Meols and Wallasey Royal British Legion
After a lengthy discussion, it was decided that there will be Two Divisions with 7 teams in each Division, resulting in 12 games for each team (6 Home and 6 Away).
A Cup competition will be held, the draw for which will be held at the pre-season meeting.
Presentations:
The Chairman, Mr. Tommy Walker presented all the prizes to the winners and runners up for the 2010 season.
Any Other Business:
Good luck to all teams in the 2011 season.
The meeting closed at 9-25pm.
The Proposed Prize Money Pay Out for the 2011 season is as follows.
Division One Winners £50. The "Top Four" Finals Day Winners £50 Runners Up £35, Losing Semi Finalists £10 Total Prize Money Pay out £155
